Over a period of few weeks, members of Immigration Voice worked hard to draft an official technical comment in response to the “Retention of EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 Immigrant Workers and Program Improvements Affecting High- Skilled Nonimmigrant Workers” regulation, also popularly known as the EAD for I-140 regulation.
The comments were officially submitted on February 29th, 2016.
It has been a matter of pride that we submitted our sincere thoughts on this regulation on behalf of the high skilled immigrant community who submitted their real-life horror stories from living and working on an H1B visa. Their stories informed our honest thoughts on this regulation. To make sure special interest groups supported by large corporations and immigration lawyers do not jeopardize the effort – we chose NOT to publish the document for public consumption until the comment period ended.
