It has been no small victory that Immigration Voice was able to advocate for spousal work authorization (H4-EAD). When this spousal work authorization came under jeopardy following a lawsuit by Save Jobs USA against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration Voice hit the ground running with legal recourse to ensure this spousal work authorization was not stripped away.
Immigration Voice attended the Motion Hearing of H4-EAD lawsuit of Save Jobs USA v. DHS, in order to represent the rights of Legal High-Skilled Immigrant Community. Immigration Voice considers this an essential step towards ensuring that beneficiaries of H4-EAD have a voice in DHS’s negotiations with Save Jobs USA.
